Band yang terdiri dari mantan personel Rage Against The Machine, Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, dan Brad Wilk dengan mantan vokalis Soundgarden Chris Cornell tersebut cukup populer di panggung rock dunia pada awal 2000an.

Audioslave terkenal dengan lagu-lagunya macam Like A Stone, Cochise, dan Be Yourself.

Apalagi keunggulan mereka memiliki ciri khas tersendiri yaitu keunikan suara Chris Cornell eks Soundgarden yang membuat kita merinding dan juga permainan efek gitar ala Tom Morello.

Alhasil hal tersebut menobatkan mereka menjadi salah satu band terbaik dunia.

Mereka sempat mendapat tiga nominasi Grammy, dan menjadi band asal Amerika Serikat pertama yang tampil dalam konser outdoor di Kuba.

Salah satunya yaitu Like a Stone bisa dibilang sebagai single pertama yang dikenalkan kepada para pecinta musik di seluruh dunia.

Dan terbukti, di Indonesia pun lagu tersebut sangat dikenal masyarakat Indonesia pecinta musik khususnya musik bergenre rock.
